Nowhere But Here

I first read Nowhere But Here last year in August. I fell in love. It was one of the first books that made me second guess my opinion of books with romance.  Since then, I've completed the entire Pushing The Limits series from Katie and tonight I'm starting Razors story. I can officially say that Katie  McGarry has changed my opinion and I'm so glad she did. I find myself wanting more at the end of every single one of her books. Emily is one hell of a woman. I know I wouldn't have been able to walk into that funeral home with my head held high.  I would have been a wreck. I have to say, though,  that's one hell...

Take Me On

I did it, guys. I finished up to book 4. Even though I still have the novellas to read, I feel a Katie McGarry withdraw coming on until Walk The Edge arrives at my house. I want more from these characters, so much more! I feel like I don't know what I am going to do with myself after I finish all the books/novellas.  I think what I'm going to do is reread Nowhere But Here and then go right into Walk The Edge since my copy has arrived! My excitement level is through the roof! I was curious who the next book was going to be based around, and I was so excited to see it was West. West has...

Crash Into You

I need to share with you how I feel after reading an entire book about Isaiah. ( If it hasn't been clear the past two reviews, I REALLY like Isaiah. )       Crash into you is officially my favorite book from the lovely Katie McGarry. Not only because it's Isaiah's story but because I really loved Rachel as well. They went together so well, even though they are like night and day. This book had my favorite story line. From the drag race that forces Rachel and Isaiah and Rachel together, leading to Eric threatening them for money, all the way to the point where Isaiah busts into the room where she was doing her speech and takes her away to race. (...

Dare You To

I can't stop reading this series. I can't. I have finished the first 3 books in the series, and I am moving to book 4 today! It's so good guys. I am sucked in. Katie grabbed me and pushed me down a hill of amazing characters and great story lines. I finished Pushing The Limits really feeling like Isaiah and Beth were an OTP. I wanted so badly to see them together, even though I knew deep down inside that the situation they were in wasn't the best for a healthy relationship. Sometimes as humans I find us really wanting to see the good in something when we know it's never going to play out. I was a little disappointed in...

Pushing the Limits

I am going to start this by standing up and giving Katie McGarry a round of applause because I am now more opened minded to reading a book with a stronger romance plot then I was before. I will also now read every book Katie puts out because every book I have picked up from her I have devoured and always ended up wanting more.      I loved this book so much, that I went and bought the rest in the series. The fact that I get to learn more about Beth and Isaiah in the following books also makes me cheer. Not only did I really enjoy the main characters in this book, I loved the supporting ones. Everything about them,...

The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things

I knew I was going to love Sage the moment I started to read. Why do you ask? It was the moment in the beginning of the book where she stated that she wished high school kids on TV looked like normal high school kids. Zits and bad hair. No one ever looks that good at school. The second time I knew I loved Sage as a Character was when she found out her aunt had a date with a UPS man, she joked with her about 'inspecting his package.' Her humor and outlook on life compliment each other so well. It almost seemed so unexpected coming from her. When you add in the fact that she takes time out of...

A Darker Shade of Magic

A Darker Shade of Magic is my first taste of V.E. Schwab's writing, and I just want to sink my teeth into more. It has been a very long time since I have read a fantasy book as amazing and incredible as this one. If there was one thing that I REALLY loved and wanted to share with you - I didn't get bored with any part of this. None of it. I was so intertwined in the story and so sucked in that I found myself just wanting more. Sometimes I find that books drag on and on with describing things or people. This one kept my attention each time it went into a long description. I wanted, no NEEDED,...

The Siren

This was my first time reading a book from Keira Cass. I had asked people what they thought of the selection series  on Twitter and I got mixed reviews and feelings. I didn't want to get into a series and find myself not liking it so I felt it was easier to start off by reading her standalone. One if my friends is a HUGE fan of her writing, and I know so many people are as well. After reading this standalone, I feel safe saying she's not the author for me. This book got to the point where I was reading it just for the sake of finishing it and reviewing. I don't like when a book gets to this...

Firsts

***SPOILER ALERT*** Oh man. This book went into situations a lot of people avoid, and it hit the ball right out of the park. Sex is an uncomfortable subject for some people. Not just teens, but also adults. I didn't know what this book was about until after I preordered it. I had seen so much talk and wonderful reviews about it on Twitter that I knew I had to jump in and see for myself what was so amazing. Sometimes Twitter lets me down for book suggestions, but this one was freaking awesome! I have a love for books that touch on subjects that make people squirm. Mercy was quite the character with a heartbreaking past. Near the end of the book...
