Anomaly Book Blog Tour

'Oh, for the love of Khan!' This is my FIRST book blog tour, and I am SO excited to be participating. To make this even more exciting, I had an amazing experience - I LOVED 'Anomaly'. I had my doubts in the beginning. I was worried from what I had read that it would be one of those books that are filled with a TON of romance. ( Don't get me wrong, some romance is great - I just don't want it every 10 pages. ) It had just the perfect amount of romance and a TON of action. The story in this book, the adventure, keeps you hooked. When a book can keep me hooked right from the beginning,  I am...

Dorothy Must Die

I remember the day I saw this gorgeous book at my local Chapters/Indigo store in town - I remember picking it up, and the dust cover felt amazing in my hands. I turned it over, read the description on the back, and knew at that moment I wanted it. I pointed it out to my husband, because my birthday was coming up, and we walked out with it that day. I was so excited. I love when anyone puts a dark twist on any fairy tales. They make things more interesting and not to formal. Danielle Paige did an AMAZING job with this beauty, and March 31st, can't come fast enough for the second book 'The Wicked Will Rise'. “And then I...

Cinder

There are some books you read, where you wish you could hop into the pages and end up in the story - In the world, the author created within those pages. This was one of those books. I want to walk through New Beijing and take in this amazing world of Cyborgs, humans, and air crafts. Toss in Space, an evil queen, a cyborg version of Cinderella, along with an amazing story line and you have this amazing book! It's a mix of Dystopian, Science fiction, and Fantasy. Three things I LOVE reading about. Top it all off with an amazing cover, and I knew the moment I saw it, I needed to read it. You never know what to...

Incarnate

I am going to start off this blog post by saying - I absolutely love Jodi Meadows. There is this amazing feeling of falling in love with an amazing book - Having an amazing author behind the series is even better. I follow her on Twitter and we have daily conversations most days - Anything from Cookies, liking photos of her ferrets ( who are ADORABLE ), to her newly formed love of the movie 'Interstellar'. She is absolutely amazing when it comes to her fans and it's one of the things I admire about her. I came across this book while watching a video from a booktuber on Youtube. ( I wish I could remember exactly whom it was, but do...

Eleanor & Park

Let us start off by saying 'Eleanor and Park', made me cry. And by cry, I mean the ugly type of crying. I ugly cried SO badly. I remember sitting on the couch, curled up reading, and I didn't know it was happening but I just started crying. This book hit me in so many ways emotionally - From being in love to growing up in a struggling family, to the struggles Eleanor deals with when it comes to her step-father. I finished this in a day, it had me absorbed and wanting to know what was going to happen next. I love that about a book - If you can keep my attention right from the beginning to the point...
